LOQI Recycled Zip Pockets Set Of Three, Water Dreaming | By Warlukurlangu Artists
The Warlukurlangu Artists Aboriginal Corporation is one of the longest-running and most successful Aboriginal-owned art centres in Central Australia.
This set of three recycled zip pockets features Water Dreaming stories depicted by three female artists: Jennifer Napaljarri Lewis, Kirsten Nangala Egan, and Ada Nangala Dixon. Each artwork represents deep cultural knowledge and connection to Country.
Made from 100% recycled taffeta, the pockets are water resistant and produced using waterless printing, reducing environmental impact. Care instructions: Preferably hand wash to preserve the water-resistant coating. If machine washing is required, wash at 30°C in a washing bag to help prevent fibres entering the wastewater.
With each sale, 10% is returned as royalties to Warlukurlangu, a First Nations-owned art centre in Central Australia. Since 1985, Warlukurlangu has supported the remote community of Yuendumu by producing and promoting First Nations artwork and culture.
